Florida's FIRST Coaches Family Camp
We are so excited to invite you to join FCA Florida's first annual Coaches Family Camp!
This will be an unforgettable weekend of fun, spiritual growth, and training for you, your spouse, and your entire family from newborns to graduating seniors! Some activities available and things to look forward to: swimming pool, fishing (bring poles/tackle!), canoes, water slides, high & low ropes course, group and family huddles, worship, awesome speakers, gel blasters, crafts, free afternoons with family, couples date night on Saturday, and much more! Campers are welcome to bring kayaks, paddle boards, pool floats, etc. Don't forget life jackets!

WHO: All coaches and their families
WHEN: Friday, June 6th – Monday, June 9th (long weekend!)

WHY: FCA understands how busy coaches are! A lot of times, coaches are spending more time and energy focused on other people’s kids than their own. This camp is aimed at providing our coaches, their spouses, and children a long weekend to unplug from the busyness of life and spend quality time together through fellowship, competition, worship, huddles, and lots of free time while growing in their relationship with the Lord, their families, local FCA staff, and peers.
Cost breakdown per camper (based off age at time of camp):
Adults: $295 | Campers 9-18 y/o: $260 | Campers 3-8 y/o: $140 | Campers 2 & under: free

Here's what you need to bring to CFC:
Modest attire is required at all times during camp. Bring suitable clothing and shoes for outdoor activites, a refillable water bottle, bug spray and sunscreen.
Hotel Lodging (adults and campers 0-5th grade): Towels & toiletries must be provided by campers in hotel lodging.
Bunkhouse Lodging (campers 6th-12th grade): Towels, twin bedding, pillows & toiletries must be provided by campers in bunkhouse.
If interested, bring personal items such as sports equipment, fishing poles & tackle, pool/beach chairs, flashlights, kayaks, paddleboards, etc. Don't forget life jackets for lake activities!
Swimming facilities are available on site, modest swim wear required.
Personal bicycles, scooters, etc. for adults and kids are allowed at Lake Yale.
For those with younger children, don't forget the necesary items to leave with the Kids Camp leaders, like diaper bags, snacks, milk/formula, strollers, change of clothes, etc.

Kids of all ages are welcome!
We will have special camp time for all of your children throughout the weekend. They will be broken down by age:
2 years and under
Preschool
Elementary (Kindergarten - 5th grade)
Middle School (6th - 8th grade)
High School (9th - 12th grade)
5th grade and under will be in the same building as adults (Raintree Auditorium).
Middle & High School will be in South Camp.

Q: What does Coaches Family Camp Cost?

Q: Will there be free time to spend with our family?
A: YES! Each day we have planned free time in the afternoons for families to spend together. There are many activities to choose from like swimming pool, water slides, canoes, high & low ropes course, fishing (bring poles & tackle!), 9 square, disk golf, gel blasters, frisbee, human foosball, and more!
Q: Where and what time is check-in?
A: Check in will open at 12pm on Friday, June 6th in the Raintree Auditorium at Lake Yale Baptist Conference Center. 39034 County Road 452, Leesburg, FL 34788
Q: What is the attire for camp?
A: Modest attire is required at all times during camp, including modest swimwear. Bring suitable clothing and shoes for outdoor activites. Hats, sunscreen, bug spray, and sunglasses recommended.
Q: Do we need to bring water bottles?
A: We recommend bringing a refillable water bottle to fill at one of the coolers throughout campus. There will also be water and gatorade to purchase through the snack shop.
Q: Is there a laundry room on site?
A: Yes, there is laundry room at Lake Yale - You will need to bring your own detergent or you can purchase with quarters.
Q: Can we bring our own recreational items/equipment?
A: Yes, and we encourage you to! We will have activities available, but feel free to bring personal sports equipment, i.e. basketballs, soccer balls, footballs, wiffle ball, etc. Kayaks, canoes, fishing poles & tackle, pool/beach chairs, pool rafts & floats, paddle boards, bikes, and scooters are also permitted. Lake Yale is a secure campus so you will feel safe with your kids riding bikes and scooters. Don't forget life jackets for lake activities.
Q: What do the hotel rooms include?
A: Most rooms have a full bed + twin bed, so prepare to bring a sleeping bag or small air mattress if necessary. Limited connecting rooms and roll-away beds are available on a first come, first served basis.
There is a mini fridge in each room as well as a shower/tub combo in most rooms.
There are no TVs in the hotel rooms at Lake Yale - great opportunity for more family time!
Hotel rooms include bedding, but NOT towels.
Towels & toiletries must be provided by campers in hotel lodging.
Q: What can bunkhouse campers expect (6th - 12th grade)?
A: Bunkhouse lodging is in the South Camp at Lake Yale. Campers 6th grade through graduating seniors will be grouped by grade into male & female huddles with a Huddle Leader. Towels, twin bedding, pillows & toiletries must be provided by campers in bunkhouse.
Q: Are meals provided?
A: There will be scheduled times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday and Sunday of camp. The first camp meal on Friday will be dinner, however, there will be a food truck available to purchase meals during registration time. On Monday, breakfast only will be provided. We also have a dessert social for the adults on Friday and Sunday evenings. Saturday night will be dedicated to couples date night! You are welcome to eat dinner on campus (meal provided in dining hall) or off campus with your spouse at a restaurant in the local area.
There will be a snack shop available throughout the duration of camp to purchase things like chips, candy, gatorade, snow cones, etc.
Q: Will there be an organized fishing tournament?
A: Glad you asked - YES! Our FCA Outdoors Ministry is planning a bass fishing tournament on Saturday afternoon. Bring your own fishing poles & tackle (Lake Yale has a few poles available to rent, but only first come, first served) as well as life jackets. You can fish from the banks or bring kayaks to fish in. There will also be instructional time with a bass fisherman showing how to tie knots, etc. Sign ups to enter the tournament will be forthcoming!
